Guest Speaker
Past Pres. Joe Adrignola introduced Dr. Richard Stuart, Lakes Region Trails with Rails Exploratory Committee, to the club. The organization's mission is to promote, design, build, and maintain a multi-use recreation trail through the city of Laconia, along side the active railroad bed, connecting the Laconia communities of Weirs Beach and Lakeport with Downtown, via a safe and convenient passageway, while providing outstanding scenic and recreation opportunities. The 10-mile Laconia segment is expected to eventually be joined with trails into the adjacent communities of Belmont and Meredith and beyond. Dick Stuart also offered the remaining 50 tickets to their Sweepstakes Ball, Saturday, May 22, Winnipesaukee Expo Center, that will be used as a fundraiser. For more information, go to
