The sign-up sheet went around again for our last Reading Is FUNdamental appearance at Woodland Heights Elementary School, June 2, 9:15a-11:15a. Chair Paul Cotton reports that due to high winds, cold temperatures, and low foot traffic, we had to cancel our appearance Memorial weekend on the Weirs Boardwalk.Motorcycle Week
Chair Paul Cotton passed around the sign-up sheet again for our biggest sales week of the year. He encourages Senior Members to pick up some of the early weekday shifts. Lakeside Ave. will be motorcycles-only starting at 8a, Monday, June 14. The Weirs Bridge will close at 12n, Thursday, June 17. Parking will be available at Thurston's Marine, Channel Lane--details to follow. The train will be running between Lakeport and the Weirs Thursday through Sunday.
