The R.S.V.P. sign-up sheet made the rounds for our Monday, June 21, meeting hosted by Russ Beane at Southdown Shores beach. Cost is $20 per person. Plus ones are welcome. Cocktails are at 5:30p and dinner at 6:30p.Motorcycle Week
Chair Paul Cotton passed around the sign-up sheet again for our biggest sales week of the year. He encourages Senior Members to pick up some of the early weekday shifts. Lakeside Ave. will be motorcycles-only starting at 8a, Monday, June 14. The Weirs Bridge will close at 12n, Thursday, June 17. Parking will be available at Thurston's Marine, Channel Lane--contact Paul for parking permits. The train will be running between Lakeport and the Weirs Thursday through Sunday.Saturday, June 12

Happy Dollars
The 50/50 winners came up with happy dollars; Roger Landry for Sheriff Don Collis surviving sitting next to Roger Webster; Larry Murphy for his 50th high school anniversary next weekend; and Bob Turner for his 63rd high school reunion coming up.Guest Speaker
Sr. Member Roger Webster introduced Sheriff Dan Collis, Belknap County Sheriff's Dept. to the club. He gave a PowerPoint presentation on their homeland security efforts under the umbrella of the Belknap Regional Special Operations Program. The group is made up of law enforcement and EMS personnel. Their funds include $500,000 from a Congressional grant and $40,000 from Homeland Security. Sr. Member Roger Webster then presented him with pink boxer shorts autographed by the Sheriff of Maricopa County, Arizona.
