Sec.'y Kathy Calvin passed out sign-up slips for our annual childrens' Christmas party, Monday, December 13. These should be returned no later than December 6. We were also reminded that our Yankee Swap night will Monday, December 22. Members who wish to receive a gift should bring one in wrapped ($10-$15 value suggested).

Programming Change
This writer reported that Exec. Dir. Jim Nute, Mayhew Program, has been postponed from this night to Monday, November 24. He plans on including a videotaped presentation.

Hopalong Ballantyne
Sr. Member Roger Ballantyne advises that he is home after five days at Lakes Region General Hospital following his knee replacement operation. He is already receiving physical therapy courtesy of Community Health & Hospice and is using a walker to get around. He expects to be out-and-about in 6-8 weeks. Get well soonest.

Get Your Badges
Steve Loughlin is taking orders for name badges from members who need replacements. It's a good idea to have more than one so that the House is covered and you have one handy for public appearances.

Santa Fund
Immediate Past Pres. Larry Murphy would like another member to join him when he meets with the Santa Fund at The Citizen office, Tuesday, November 18, 4p. They will eventually need our help with holiday food deliveries.

Joe Adrignola Live
Past Pres. Joe Adrignola will be on Esther Peters radio show on WEMJ, talking about the Dental Program. He may not be taking calls.

Win a Classic!
Chair Paul Cotton will be picking up our raffle motorcycle Thursday. He has a check for $20,825 in hand for same. That means that we will have the actual Harley to be won on hand at the Crafts Fair, Winnipesaukee Expo, Laconia. After Pres. Warren Mitchell could find no takers for the two Rock & Roll Reunion concert tickets for Sunday next at U.N.H., it was suggested that this writer donate them to a radio station for contest prizes.

Homeless?
House Chair Roger Landry advises that, due to construction, we will not be able to meet at One Mill Plaza in January and February. Any members who have suggestions for an alternate venue should let him know.

Homeless No More
House Chair Roger Landry advises that we will be meeting in the Community Room at the new Laconia Police Station, 126 New Salem St., Laconia, January and February 2004. Parking will be in the general lot to the left of the building. The Community Room is off the main lobby on the first floor and seats around 40. While their guests we will enjoy police-oriented programs including a tour of the building and K9 unit demonstration.
