Chair Paul Cotton thanked the crew who worked Bayside Expo Center, Boston last weekend: Phil Bonafide, Kathy Calvin, Roger and Pam Landry, Nancy Parrott, and Larry and Rosemary Murphy. Needless to say, Paul Cotton was there for the whole weekend. $1955 was taken in on Saturday and $2085 on Sunday. Debbie Cotton sent in a buck for Paul not being around all weekend; Phil Bonafide for seeing the infamous "catwoman" from the Boardwalk last year at Bayside Expo; and Kathy Calvin for winning the 50/50.

Jeff Cilley came up with two dollars for the above and Paul Cotton for successfully snowmobiling 480 miles in three days with no breakdowns.

Conventioning
Pres. Larry Murphy advises that the next District meeting will be March 7-9 in Boxboro, Massachusetts. There is also an opportunity to catch a Celtics game if anyone is interested.

Get the Youts
Past Pres. Nancy Williams attended the Governor's visit at the Hooksett club where he emphasized the importance of youth involvement in Kiwanis.

Sec.'y Kathy Calvin passed around the sign-up sheet for our next Reading Is Fundamental visit to Elm Street School on Wednesday, February 12, from 10-11. On board so far are Michael Bastraw, Larry Murphy, Don Nelson, Chet Cilley, Joe Collie, and Kathy Calvin. There's always room for more.

Boards Matters
On January 6, 2003, the Boards voted $152 to Dr. Johnson for dental bills, $100 to the new Wolfeboro club, and Dick Breton's letter of resignation was accepted. On January 13, 2003, the resignations of Dan Fisher and Nate Robertson were accepted.

Michael Cozort, Superintendent of the Shaker Regional School District, will provide a slide presentation of his recent travel to Japan. Highlights will include the differences in culture and educational systems. Should be very interesting....
