Chair Joe Adrignola thanked all who helped with the Reading Is FUNdamental programs at Elm Street School and Woodland Heights School last week: Joe Adrignola, Larry Murphy, Kathy Calvin, Roger Webster, Howard Bacon, Charlie St. Clair, Jennifer Anderson, Police Chief Thomas Oetinger and Lt. John MacLennan, and Shirley Glines. We also received coverage of the event from WMUR-TV. Chair Joe Adrignola would also like to invite the non-members who help out with the program to one of our meetings. Next up is Pleasant Street School, Wednesday, May 28, 2a-3p (Joe Adrignola, Kathy Calvin, Michael Bastraw, Don Nelson, Chet Cilley, and Warren Mitchell).

Getting Clipped for Kiwanis
Charlie St. Clair reports that his colleague, Jennifer Anderson, received a call from C.B. Sullivan/Paul Mitchell Hair Products who will sponsor a "cutathon" at the Laconia Road House at the Lobster Pound, Thursday, June 12. Several salons will supply hair stylists who will being cutting hair from 11a-6p. They advised Jennifer that they were seeking a charity to receive the proceeds. She suggested us--so that's where the money will be going.

The Kiwanis hospitality and visiting your lovely home were highlights of our pleasure/antiquing trip! Several 'notes': a) I have looked at your Kiwanis Club web site and am most impressed!
