Thanx
Mary Lee Matthewman with the Belmont School District wrote that thank us for the Crest dental kits we donated. Mike Audet, Laconia High School HOBY Ambassador, sent a thank-you for our support of the program.

Let the Bidding Continue
Pres. Phil Bonafide sent around the sheet again for the silent auction for the two tickets ($120 value) to the July 5 Boston Pops event at Meadowbrook that the New Hampshire Music Festival donated. Sr. Member Ed Chertok and Past Pres. Joe Adrignola are in the running. Other bids will be entertained next meeting.

Revolutionary
Pres. Phil Bonafide reports that the Boards voted to purchase 10 flex-passes to the New England Revolution soccer games this season. They will be donated to high school athletes.

Special Olympics
Peggy Arend and her husband were our sole representatives to this year's Special Olympics at U.N.H. Saturday last. She found helping with the softball event was a "heartwarming" experience. The event staff was supplemented by an Interested Club (Rotary's "Key Club").

Interclubs
Warren Mitchell advises that there will be a trip to the Mt. Washington Valley club on Wednesday, June 19 (raindate June 26), members should meet at 4:30 p.m. at A.G. Edwards on Union Ave. near Messer St. He will need a headcount by next meeting. And to Berlin on July 16 (raindate July 23). If someone brings a car, pooling may be available. He has a sign-up sheet.

Win a Classic!
Steve Loughlin reports that the total from Laconia Savings Bank's stewardship of our Harley now totals $2815. Pres. Phil Bonafide reports that there were a lot of people in the Weirs for the first weekend. We tallied $1755 Saturday and $1916 Sunday. Monday brought in around $1000. Immediate Past Pres. Don and Sue Nelson set up early and were selling tickets even before everything was up and running. We still have openings needing to be filled in the rest of the schedule. Contact Pres. Phil Bonafide if you can help out. If you sign up for a shift and can't make it, it's your responsibility to find a replacement. Remember that if you work the event, you get a meeting credit. Thurston's Marina has once again agreed to allow us to park on their property next to the drive-in theater fence. Be certain not to block either of the gates to the theater! The train service will be running Thursday through Sunday between Meredith and the Weirs and Lakeport and the Weirs. It's $10 per person round trip. Call 745-2135 for times and other info. All outstanding tickets and/or monies should be turned by now.

Many clipboards--no waiting.
