Old Home Day
V.P. Larry Murphy passed around a sign-up sheet once more for Gilford Old Home Day, Saturday, August 25. He reports we "just barely" have enough members to run the operation--he's still a little short between 2p-6p. Sr. Member Roger Ballantyne donated a gas grill to the operation.

2001 Fall Classic
Past Pres. Nancy Williams advises the committee has met and is "moving forward" with our golf tournament at Pheasant Ridge Country Club, Monday, October 1.

Bulletin Patrons
Fundraising Chair Phil Bonafide reminds members who volunteered to contact past Kronikle supporters to re-up. And other members should be on the lookout for new patrons. We have money in hand from eight but should have at least twice that number.

Installation 2001
V.P. Phil Bonafide has the menu options for our installation dinner on Monday, September 24, at Pheasant Ridge Country Club. A buffet format is probably in our future. It will be a guest night with incoming Lt. Gov. Ken Georgevits. A sign-up sheet will be forthcoming; line up your guests.

Thanx
Pres. Don Nelson read a a thank-you not from the Laconia Fourth of July Committee for our support. Special thanx to our own Chet Cilley and Jim Fortier for their fine representation.

Interclub
Warren Mitchell has 10 members and friends sign-up for the interclub to Berlin, Tuesday. Unsettled weather means that a call will be going out to all travelers around noon to confirm the trip. The group plans on meeting at NAPA Auto Parts at 3p. Chet Cilley will be taking a car.

Key Club
Chair Jim Fortier says that the divisional Key Clubbers will be holding a bikeathon from her to Kittery, Maine on Saturday, September 15. This will be a fundraiser for K.P.T.I. and Camp Sunshine. Almost 25 members plan on participating. They would like to know if we may be able to get MacDonald's restaurants to chip in breakfast and Walmart to loan bikes for those who don't have one.

Dental Clinic
Pres. Don Nelson will be meeting with the Dental Committee after the regular meeting.

Fines
Sgt.@Arms Roger Landry found Dick Breton, Warren Mitchell, John Grocki, Larry Murphy, and Larry Murphy pinless; Chet Cilley was tardy.

Kids on Wheels
Sgt.-at-Arms Roger Landry picked up our newly decorated motorcycle trailer Wednesday last. Assoc. Ed. Steve Loughlin was on hand to record the fine artisanship of Anatole Paquette and John Bienarz, Paqette Signs, Meredith. They completed their paint and vinyl work in less than a week. This writer would also like to thank long-time friend and associate George Lallas for his seasoned eye. Now everyone will know when Kiwanis is in town.
