R.I.F.
Chair Joe Adrignola thanked Chet Cilley, Don Nelson, Kathy Calvin, and Joe Collie for helping with the Reading Is FUNdamental appearance at Woodland Heights Elementary; and Chet Cilley, Don Nelson, and Kathy Calvin for going to Pleasant Street School. Signed up for our next appearance at Elm Street School, Wednesday, October 23, 9:45a-11:00a, are Chet Cilley, Don Nelson, Kathy Calvin, Joe Collie, Joe Adrignola, Nate Robertson, Roger Webster, and Ed Chertok. This is a good showing. The more members we can field the less demand on the school's own staff.

Win a Classic!
Chair Paul Cotton sent the sign up sheet out again for our first roadshow: the Grass Drags, Laconia Airport. Shifts are 9:30a-12:30p and 12:30p-4:00p, Saturday, October 26; 9a-12n and 12n-3p, Sunday, October 27. Members who will be working should make arrangements to get their parking permits and wrist tags before the event. He is pretty much set for Saturday but still needs help for the two Sunday shifts. Roadshows don't get much easier than this--short shifts with a short drive.

Interclub
Past Pres. Norm Leon, Seacoast Club of Portsmouth (which actually meets in Kittery, Maine), reports that Elvis will be appearing at a social function they have planned for November. They will be holding a Halloween party at the community center. They will then be putting on a kids' Pluck-a-Duck game as a fundraiser. Also they will have a float in the holiday parade.

Past Pres. Norm Leon, Seacoast Club, makes Sr. Member Roger Webster cry.
