News That Concerns Kiwanians and Their Families
Attendance
50 (28 adults, 22 children)The Halls Are Decked
Contigiani's Catering had Pheasant Ridge Country Club dressed to the nines for our annual Childrens' Party. Everything spelled out the holiday season from a fully-decorated tree to a blazing fireplace. In addition to our usual beverages, a terrific real fruit punch was a special treat. After Immediate Past Pres. Don Nelson led everyone in a reasonable rendition of "Jingle Bells", we hit the buffet featuring chicken fingers with three sauces and french fries. Everyone also certainly enjoyed the ice cream table with all sorts of add-ons.

Here Comes You-Know-Who
With a rush of crisp winter air, our special holiday guest, Santa Claus, bound into the room. Moving from table to table with the nimble spring of the merry old elf that he is, he greeted the revelers, young and younger. With the aid of Santa's Hel.'pr Kathy Calvin and her elves, Santa spent some quality time with each child who left with a special gift from Pole North.
