We Must Be a Good Customer
We received a Christmas card from Meredith Harley-Davidson with signatures from their whole crew.

Win a Classic!
Pres. Phil Bonafide thanked Dick Breton, Nancy Williams, Bob Turner, Don and Sue Nelson, Larry Murphy, and himself for working the roadshow at the Steeplegate Mall, Concord, Saturday, December 15. We more than doubled our take from last year to the tune of $2530. Now it's time to get some new blood on board for the next roadshow: outside the Lakes Region Factory Outlet Mall near the Chocolate Place, Tilton, Saturday, December 22. Signed-up (per usual) are 9:30a Set-up: Don Nelson and Phil Bonafide; 10a-1p: Don Nelson, Phil Bonafide, Kathy Calvin; 1p-4p: Don Nelson, Phil Bonafide, Charlie St. Clair, Michael Bastraw; 4p Close: Don Nelson and Phil Bonafide. Come on folks, this is a club fundraiser which everyone voted to do. Let's give Phil and Don a break.

Don't Show Up
We will not meet Monday next because of the holidays. We meet next at the Busiel Community Room, One Mill Plaza, courtesy of the Martin etal. law company, Wednesday, January 2, 2002...and until March when Pheasant Ride Country Club reopens.

Minding the Kettle
We will be ringing the bells for the Salvation Army on Saturday, December 22. Signed-up are: 9a--Dianne Roberts/Randy Eifert; 10a--Steve Loughlin/Chet Cilley; 11a--Paul Normandin/Carroll Stafford; 12n--Bob Turner/Ed Merski; 1p--Roger Landry/Warren Mitchell; 2p--Nancy Parrott/Larry Murphy; 3p--Nancy Williams/Scott Beane; 4p--Kathy Calvin/Howard Bacon.

Bylaws
Pres. Phil Bonafide would like all members to review the bylaws and suggest any changes they feel would be in the best interests of the club. The bylaws are now online
here or by clicking the links that will appear on all new Kronikle pages.

Telethon
Joe Collie reports that the Santa Fund auction took in $87,322 this year--up from $44,000 last year. Thanx to all who helped the club handle the phone bank.

Bid early, bid often, bid high...

Happy Dollars
Nancy Williams paid a buck for Joe Collie giving Kiwanis a good share of publicity during the telethon; Larry Murphy for the good, but unusual, call that gave the New England Patriots a win over the Buffalo Bills Sunday last; and Nancy Williams again for Jim Depoin becoming her best friend.

Yankee Swap
Everyone picked their numbers from House Chair Nancy Williams, Sr. Member Roger Ballantyne explained the rules of the road, and the annual Yankee Swap was off and running. #1 this year was Pres. Phil Bonafide. Members worked through the batting order with the usual majority of gifts being boozish in nature. A bottle of Kaluha with scratch tickets passed from owner to owner before ending up in the hands of #1. The Women of Tamworth calendar seemed to hold the special interest of our group--pictures to follow next issue.

Explanations bring out the thousand-yard stare in Sr. Member Roger Ballantyne.
