Change To Bylaws:
Immediate Past President Brian let the club know that the amendment to the Bylaws the club voted on last week has been approved by Kiwanis International. That amendment, which changes the number of the Board of Directors from 8 to 5, is listed in the ByLaws under Article VII Section 1. The full text of the ByLaws can be viewed by "clicking" Bylaws at the top of this page or simply by "clicking" here.
Update on Joe Adrignola:

No guest speaker tonight:
Roger Landry let the club know that he will be rescheduling a presentation from Jon Southwell and his fire dog.
We will be meet on Tuesday, January 19th and not on the 18th because of the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday. Please make note of the schedule change.

Two Happy Dollars were collected:
$1 from Don Nelson for winning
$1 from Dick Metz because his recent visit to Dartmouth Hitchcock found normal Brain Wave Activity. (In fact his doctors said his brain was in such good condition it looked as though it had never been used).
That isn't a blank stare...it's "normal brain wave activity."
Tonight's meeting was adjourned at 6:57 p.m.
In last week’s bulletin it was reported that Dennis Denoncourt correctly identified five of the 10 individuals in the picture. The fact is: Dennis correctly identified six of the individuals. Initially it was believed that the Thurston in the picture was Mark Thurston and not his identical twin brother, David, as Dennis Denoncourt had correctly noted. Prior to publishing last week’s edition, Mark Thurston was contacted in efforts to get a correct identification. Mark noted that the individual in the picture was in fact his brother, David. However, your editor inadvertently failed to go back and give Dennis additional credit for his answer. The moral of the story is: When looking for accuracy always depend on a good CPA. Congratulations again to Dennis Denoncourt!
