Lt. Governor Update…
Lt. Governor Joe Collie reported that he went to visit the Portsmouth Club on January 21st. They are very active raising money by working the concession stands at the UNH Hockey games. They also do a Duck Walk during Portsmouth’s Market Square Days that raising some money for them. They are in the holiday parades and they also volunteer at the Soup Kitchen in town on Saturday morning. Up next, possibly a trip to the Meredith Club. This will either be on Tuesday, February 3rd or Tuesday, March 3rd. Also…coming up on March 25th, the Dover Club and the Conway Club will be having a joint dinner in Ossipee. Lt. Governor Joe is going and should anyone else be interested and available, we could make an interclub of it.

Hey Kiwanis…THANKS!
We received 3 thank you letters. One from the Circle Program thanking us for our donation of $750. Another thank you came from the Salvation Army formally thanking us for the bell ringing we did at Christmas time. The third came from the Boys and Girls Club for our annual support of their programs.

Schedule change…
Please be informed that the meeting two weeks from now will be on Tuesday night…and not Monday night. The date will be Tuesday, February 17th and NOT Monday, February 16th. It’s President Day Weekend and we will be meeting Tuesday instead of Monday. Please make a note of this schedule change.

Happy Dollars:
Kathy Calvin had a happy dollar for winning the 50/50. Steve Loughlin gave a happy dollar for Nancy Williams-Hunt helping him with new nametags and the second one was because Peter Karagianis was back at Kiwanis. Russ Beane gave $5 because his funeral home had merged with Simoneau Paquette, forming the Wilkinson-Beane Simoneau Paquette Funeral Home & Cremation Services. It’s the longest name of any funeral home in the Green Book.
