and Their Families |

President Scott recapped the Board of Directors meeting special guest, School Board President Joe Cormier, who shared with our Board the School Board’s intention to maintain the status quo by allowing the Key Club to continue to operate the concession stand during home varsity football games. A series of meetings at the School Board is planned and we will be notified of the results of those meetings.
News From The Members:
Jack Batchelder reported that all but 11 of the 250 raffle tickets were sold for a club profit of $895. Roger Landry thanked Jack and wife, Shelly, for all the hard work that went into making the raffle a success.
Kathy Calvin reported a Kiwanis KARES event at Elm Street School April 30th, at 9:30 am. She also reported the Key Club Habitat for Humanity trip to New Jersey may be in jeopardy for a variety of reasons; finding a good place for the kids to sleep, and the numbers of kids going. A minimum of 10 is needed for the trip to happen.
Brian Winslow announced a planning meeting for the Home Run Derby will be held Wednesday, April 17th, at 5:30 PM at his office at 780 N. Main St.
Steve Gorse recapped the preparations for the May 18th bicycle rodeo. A bike will be purchased from MC Cycle, which has been very supportive of the rodeo in the past. Roger Landry announced that NAPA would buy the bike to support the club.
Phil Bonafide shared with the club an article in the most recent issue of our Kiwanis magazine, where clubs are encouraged to utilize the Kiwanis International online form for club bylaws. All clubs are asked to adopt the new bylaws by the end of the 2013/2014 administrative year. For more details, "click" here.
