From the President: President Meredith updated the club on the following:
• The health of our newest member, Kara Stanley
• Annual Bike Rodeo – which will be held on Saturday, May 20th at Opechee Park from 10:00 am until 2 pm. The following have already committed to partner with our Club: LRGHealthcare, MC Cycle, and Boys & Girls Club. Other probable participants include: DARE, the Laconia Fire Dept., Child Advocacy Center, Bike Exchange, and Smoky the Bear
• Bike Week will be held June 10th to June 18th. This will be discussed in detail at our next meeting.

From the Members:
• Phil Bonafide reported that the Club grossed over $20,000 in Gaming Revenue and, after expenses, our net will exceed $16,000! Thank you Phil Bonafide and Kathy Calvin for your efforts in making this happen.
• Bill Gile reported the Kiwanis Board approved a proposal to pursue chartering a “Builder’s Club” (e.g., Key Club in the Laconia Middle School)
• Scott Laurent reported the next Kiwanis KARES is scheduled for April 19th at Pleasant Street School at 9:00 am. Please let Kathy Calvin know if you are able to volunteer.

Motorcycle Week Sign-Up:

Help is needed by the membership for our annual Motorcycle Week fund-raiser on the Laconia Boardwalk. This is always a blast and everyone's participation is strongly encouraged. President John is willing to drop off and pick up by boat any participant.

The following is a current schedule of members who have signed up to work at the Boardwalk during Bike Week. If you would like to add your name to the list, please indicate the day and time preference and “click” here to send an e-mail to our bulletin editor. Your preference will then be updated into the schedule listed below:
