The May 24th meeting will be a big one, we have invited all the KARES teachers and there will be an inter club with Hooksett, we will also be awarding the winner of the Bike Rodeo raffle her prize that evening. This is a good meeting to bring a guest!
Our regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, May 31st will be moved to Tuesday, June 1st because of the holiday.Mail Call:
We received a thank you from Laconia Head Start for the books we donated for their carnival. The extras they have are being distributed as they make home visits to clients. To read the letter, "click" here.
We have been invited to a reception in honor of the Laconia Area Land Trust, please let President Brian know if you are interested.

Kathy Calvin lets us know the next KARES event will be Thursday, June 3rd at Woodland Heights from 9:30 to 11:15. A sign-up sheet will be passed around at our next meeting.

Dan is Happy...
Congratulations to Dan Feehily who accepted a job back in the field he knows and loves best....retail grocery merchandising. Dan just started his second week of employment as a Merchandising Consultant for Associated Grocers of New England.

Two of these stores include Harvest Market of Wolfeboro and Vista Foods in Laconia.
After Dan gets settled in his job, he’ll be in a better position to determine his hours available for Kiwanis. In the meantime, he sends his regards.
Dan was spotted at Staples over the weekend and wishes the Kiwanis Club his best.
