News From The President:
• July 19th is the projected date for Home Run Derby.
• President Jack thanked Meredith for her hard work with the Bike Rodeo.

News From The Members:
Meredith Horton updated the Club on the Bike Rodeo:

• 70 Kids entered the bike raffle
• Participating Organizations were: LRGHealthcare, Laconia Police, Laconia Fire Dept. and the Marine Patrol
• The weather cleared and we had a nice day

Betty Ballantyne gave a short update about Roger’s Ride and, while much of the work has been done, she would like to firm up a committee to start some of the planning and brainstorming to make the event even better. The date of event is August 24th and it will start at Rotary Park/Belknap Mill.

Brian Winslow gave an update on the annual Kiwanis fund raiser on the Boardwalk during Bike Week. He passed around a sign-up sheet and noted that weekend volunteers are a priority and would prefer to see these slots filled in first. Shaw’s has donated 1,200 bottles of water and NAPA is donating the cost of soda.

Brian also noted that one of the tent legs from the Kiwanis EZ-Up tent is missing and asked if anyone might have seen it. Like last year, parking for workers will be available at Thurston’s Marina. More specifies on this annual fund raiser will be discussed at our next meeting on June 9th.

Brian Winslow and Kevin Irish gave a Membership Committee Update
The Membership Committee has met numerous times over the past couple of months and they are starting the planning of a “Member Round-Up.” Initial plans are to have a family style BBQ/Cookout in place of a weekly meeting sometime in August. It will include inviting family members and friends as well as prospective members. While this is still in the early stage of planning, it was suggested our members start thinking about invitations to prospective and former members as well as existing members who we haven’t heard from in a while.

Scott Laurent reported on the Devin Dennoncourt Memorial Ride on June 7th starting at 9am in Laconia (Spot YTBD) and BBQ at 4pm in Belmont 77 Hoadly Rd. For more information check out facebook by “clicking “ here.
