Win A Classic!
Paul Cotton updates the club on the first few days of Motorcycle Week and thanked all for their effort in selling tickets to this point. Special thanks to Jackie Bonafide for her shift Sunday and Dan Zawacki for doing such a good job buttoning up the tent Sunday night. Despite rain Saturday, the take was better than anticipated considering the weather. Sunday was great as the weather cooperated. Paul will make a generous deposit Tuesday! The schedule for the rest of the week is posted below and please keep in mind we do need one more shift filled…Thursday morning, 9am-1pm. If you can help, please let Paul Cotton know.
President Joe will need a new lawyer if he gets any closer to Jackie Bonafide.

From Weirs to Lakeport: Thurs-Sun starting @ 11:30 ON THE ½ HOUR!
The last train OUT of the Weirs each night is @ 11:30pm.
The last train SUNDAY is 4pm….please make note.
Weather Report
President Joe “I wish I worked at a bigger station” Collie reports that the weather forecast he gave on the radio Monday morning indicated we could be in a for a fabulous Bike Weekend. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday is calling for partly sunny skies all 3 days with temperatures between 73 and 77. Let’s hope it stays that way as we get closer to the weekend. Stay tuned…
Thoughts of Space Shot
Steve, Warren, and Paul spoke on Roger Ballantyne’s recent health issues. Roger asks that the club avoid calling him, but e-mails are a good way to send your well wishes. That way, he can respond at his own pace. The address is ballantyne@metrocast.net
We certainly wish Roger the best during this time.
RIF Update
Warren Mitchell gave the RIF Update in place of Kathy Calvin. Warren said the club was well represented Tuesday, June 6 th at Aloha to reading at Pleasant Street School. He said the club wore Hawaiian shirts and grass hula skirts provided by Joe Adrignola. The class at PSES presented the club with nice thank you notes. On Wednesday, June 7 th , the club read to 3 rd graders at Woodland Heights Elementary School. Warren said the club was very well received and the kids were anxious for our return. Thanks to all who helped out. Job well done.

Mixing Business With Pleasure
Steve “Cash Flow” Loughlin was fined for wearing his Kiwanis pin in a newspaper ad promoting his services at Laconia Savings Bank. He paid $5. Carroll Stafford told him to charge it to his expense account.
Send this kid to camp!
The club made a check presentation to Dianne Zawacki, Executive Director of the Laconia Teen Center, in the amount of $800. The board approved it last month. That money will send 10 kids to the Teen Center’s Summer Camp, which runs $80 a week.
President Joe presents a check for the Laconia Teen Center to Dianne Zawacki.

Larry Murphy asked if anyone knew where the largest cranberry bog in the United States was. After several guesses, Roger Webster said Minnesota. Correct. Roger then said that in Las Vegas, the Catholic Church donated all their casino chips to the monk in town and he is known as “The ChipMonk.” Incorrect.50/50

STEVE'S NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO UNDERSTANDS "CASH FLOW"

Joe Collie gave 2 bucks for winning the other 13.
Dianne Zawacki gave $8 for the other $792 the club gave the Teen Center.
Ed Chertok gave a buck for the Red Sox dramatic win Sunday.
Total: $11. Lesson: Joe Collie should win every week!Fines
Steve Loughlin gave $5 for the previously mentioned newspaper article.Guest Speakers
The question on how to go about booking guest speakers has come up again. At this point, there is no committee in charge of this, but there could be if needed. Just check the schedule and fill in speaker requests on a first come, first serve basis. We should be able to avoid double booking. If this does not seem to work for the club, then a committee or member will be appointed to booking guests.Monday, July 17th
Tentative: Dianne Zawacki may have a guest from the Teen Center.
