4TH of July RECAP:
Roger Landry and Pam Landry towed the ATVs in the parade. Larry Murphy, Kathy Calvin, and Arlene Fortier sold tickets for the raffle at the fireworks display and raised $365. Nice job! Jim Fortier and Chet Cilley are on the 4th of July Committee. Well done by all involved.

ATV Raffle:
The ATV Raffle is scheduled to make trips to the Stratham Fair and the Cheshire Fair, both coming up later this month. Sign up sheets were circulated again this week. The schedule now looks like this::

Hey Kiwanis...THANKS!
We received a thank you note from Bridget Cass, a junior from Holy Cross, thanking us for our scholarship of $500. Last week, we received a thank you from her younger sister, Mary. Congratulations, Bridget…you’re welcome!

Faith, Hope, and Love Update:
We received an e-mail from Laura Brusseau letting us know that the organization had awarded a scholarship to Lisa Ainsworth, a senior at Inter-Lakes. This is the first scholarship that the organization was able to award. Well done!

Interclub to Berlin:
Warren Mitchell advises the club that there will be an Interclub to Berlin on July 22nd, a Tuesday night. We will be leaving Laconia at 3pm. We will need a head count by next week’s meeting. Please check your schedule and see if you’re able to go. Remember…brake for Moose…it could save your life!

50/50:

Board Meeting from June:

Kathy Calvin read the minutes from the June board meeting. The highlights were:
***The Charity Fund and the General Fund were approved as read.
***$250 more was approved for the ATV purchase
***$150 was approved for the St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry
***$1,031 was approved for the MultiCultural Market Day with the request that future expenditures not exceed $1,000 dollars.
***$24 was approved to register the old Kiwanis trailer
***$122 was approved to insure both trailers
***$175 was approved for the support of the Mr. Phil Program at Laconia Public Library
***$63.47 was approved for Roger Landry to purchase ATV covers.
***$100 was approved for the Cheshire Fair
***$180 was approved for the Lancaster Fair
***$100 was approved for the Stratham Fair
***$150 was approved to support Laconia Youth Soccer.
