Metz Auction:
Roger Landry and Mike Marsh gave an update on the Dick Metz’ auction of the weekend. Mike reported that there was a good crowd and that most of the sports memorabilia went to online bidders. We look forward to seeing Dick back at the club soon. Roger also reported that, while at the auction, he ran into Gilford Police Chief John Markland. He said the Chief expressed interest in joining the club. We will follow up with him.

Next Meeting:
Brian Winslow reminded the club that the next meeting will be in
two weeks: August 9th. We will be commencing on our bi-weekly meeting schedule, meeting the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month.

 

Leaving On A Jet Plane...
Roger Webster reports that Ed Merski is headed to Poland with his family. He leaves tomorrow.

A trip to lift your spirits...
Joe Adrignola reported the visit to Stone Gate Vineyard (27 David Lewis Road, Gilford) will be at the meeting of September 27th.  The charge for that night will be $18 instead of $13 per person.   It includes dinner, a tour of the facility, and wine tasting.  Bring guests and spouses/significant others.  There is a capacity limit so please commit early.
