The Laconia Kiwanis Club competed in the 4th annual Bowl-A-Thon held on September 23rd at Funspot in the Weirs. Proceeds from the event, which was hosted by fusion, benefited the Faith, Hope and Love Foundation and future fusion programs.

The Laconia Kiwanis Club team included Club members: Meredith Horton, Jeff Beane and Rob Reid as well as Tyler Kupetz and Scott Canning (who are friends of Rob).

Each of the 19 teams competing in the tournament bowled two games, which included one candlepin string and one 10-pin string.

Rob Reid was the high scorer for the Laconia Kiwanis Club team in the candlepin string while Jeff Beane was the high scorer for the team in the 10-pin string. Jeff’s 10-pin score of 167 was also the highest of all competitors in the Bowl-A-Thon.
