Possible Fundraisers...
Vice President Mike presented a preliminary fundraising plan that will partner with Laconia Bike Works to purchase and sell tickets on one or more motor scooters. Much discussion followed. Stay tuned for next week's meeting when Mike will present a final plan for membership vote.Immediate Past President Brian let the club know that he has been contacted by Elizabeth Howard, a business acquaintance of Charlie St. Clair, who is interested in partnering with Laconia Kiwanis and holding an antique fair during the summer months. More to come soon.
An Existing Fundraiser...
Brian Winslow updated the club on activities at The Lodge at Belmont. Brian said that Saturday was very busy due to the snowmobile racing and although he hasn't heard for sure he estimates we have raised over $5,000 to date.
