Education Fair:
Kathy Calvin informs the club that we will have a booth at the Education Fair coming up on Tuesday, March 18th at Laconia High School. The booth will provide attendees with information about Kiwanis and focus more specifically on how Kiwanis works with the school system and students.

Warren Mitchell presented the club with raffle calendars he is selling for Lakes Region Day Care Center. The prizes range from gift certificates to Red Sox tickets and they will be drawing a winner every day in April. Get your calendars now from Warren. Board Minutes from February:
The board met last on February 4, 2008. Some of the highlights:
***The minutes from the previous month, the general fund, and charity fund were all approved as read.
***A purchase of a package to Myrtle Beach to be raffled off during Bike Week was approved. The purchase should not exceed $5,000.00
***A table at the Belknap Mill event in May was sponsored for $550.
***A donation to the Humane Society was made in the name of James Dow
***$200 was approved for gifts of appreciation for Catherine and Jim Contigiani.
***Meeting adjourned at 7:40pm.
