From the President:
Bill reminded the membership that for the time being, board meetings will continue to be held at Hector’s on the second Monday of each month and that regular meetings will be held at the Fire Department meeting room on the fourth Monday of each month.
Next month our guest speaker will be Captain Scott McNeil from the Salvation Army. In May, our guest speaker will be from the Boys and Girls Club. Since the fourth Monday in May falls on Memorial Day, a determination will be made at the next Board meeting about the date to reschedule that meeting.
From the Members:
Kara Stanley reminded the members the Bike Rodeo is scheduled for May 19th at Elm Street School. The Elm Street School PTO will sponsor the event. Kara noted, David Levesque, the principal of Pleasant Street School has requested a flyer so he can distribute it to the students at his school. We will also be contacting the students at Woodland Heights School. So, it is expected we will have exposure to more than 350 elementary school kids.
Gabi Djuric, incoming Key Club President (2018-2019), briefed the Club on upcoming Key Club projects and events.
