How Do You Do?
The club sang a resounding verse of this old favorite for some returning old favorites: Roger Webster and Jim Fortier are back from Florida. Roger immediately took the floor and told a story about one of his morning walks. The fire engines and the ambulances went by. It turns out a neighbor of his was scratched by her cat and after three days they could not stop the bleeding. After about five minutes, we stopped the bleeding and Roger sat down. When asked about his return, Jim Fortier said “no comment.”

Bike Rodeo Update:
Chet informs the club that the Bike Rodeo has been planned for Saturday, May 10th and Chet confirms that the location will be Opechee Park. More to follow. Stay Tuned.

Roger Ballantyne Update:
First some sad news: Roger’s friend Jim Depoian, who visited the club with Roger, passed away last weekend. As for Roger, the update is that he has good days and bad days. He enjoys listening to music and reportedly leaves the TV set on the preview channel to listen to the music and not to see what the listings are.

Jim Depoian, Rest in Peace.

Fundraising Discussion:
The club was asked to vote on a fundraising direction.

1. ATV raffle
2. Trip option
3. 50/50 raffle with cash to the winner

The raffle and the trip option would be during Motorcycle Week primarily. Brian says that the trip could be in our budget and could be cancelled easily enough if we do not go in that direction.

Warren also presented a gas card promotion to be held Memorial Day Weekend at the Laconia Nationals Car Show. A motion was made and accepted to do this fundraiser.

A vote was taken and the trip was cut. The ATV raffle was accepted and will move forward. A schedule will be prepared.
