Bike Rodeo Update:
VP Mike Marsh passed around a sign up sheet and gave an update on the Bike Rodeo scheduled for May 15th.  The following individuals have signed up to help: Brian Winslow, Roger Webster, Kathy Calvin, Don Nelson, Jim Fortier, Joe Adrignola, Steve Loughlin, Larry Murphy, Phil Bonafide, Mike Marsh, Steve Gorse, Howard Bacon, Paul Normandin, and yes you guessed it…Larry Murphy again.

VP Mike Marsh requested some help on Friday May 14th to move tables, chairs, barricades and traffic cones; Kathy Calvin, Larry Murphy, Brian Winslow and Roger Landry offered some of their time.

Other News:
Phil Bonafide reports that he stopped in at Happy Jack's and talked to Peter Karagianis Jr.
Good news: Peter Sr. feels better and is anxious to start getting out and about!

On The Cutting Edge:
This was Ed Merski's first meeting since his bizarre experience with a chain saw. As reported in last week's bulletin, Ed nearly cut off his leg after his chain saw acted up. Ed is healing up quite nicely as shown in the picture below:

Board Meeting Minutes:
At the regular Board meeting held on April 5th, a motion was made to approve the minutes as read. That motion carried.

The Board approved the following:
-To donate $150.00 to fund Project Headstart books through Young Children Priority One.
-
To approve the following leaves of absence; three months for Cathy and Tom Knox, six months for Dick Metz, and one month (through the end of April) for Phil Bonafide.

The treasure's report was approved.

The Board of Directors meeting adjourned at 7:25 pm.

Kathy also reported that a vote of the general membership on April 26th, resulted in the following official positions: Mike Marsh as incoming president, Roger Landry and 1st Vice President, Joe Adrignola as Treasurer. Board of Directors elected were: Joe Collie, Steve Loughlin and Steve Gorse.

 

 

Tonight's meeting was adjourned at 6:58 p.m.
