News That Concerns Kiwanians and Their Families

Attendance:
15

Invocation:
Roger Landry

Senior Members:
Ed Merski, Howard Bacon, Jim Fortier, Roger Webster, Carroll Stafford, and Paul Normandin

Mail Call:

The Kiwanis Club of Laconia has been invited to visit the Mayhew Program and get a tour of the facilities.  We have been invited for the end of June or sometime in July.  Please let Mike Marsh or Brian Winslow know if you are interested.

Larry Murphy informs us that he and Carroll Stafford will be volunteering at the Mayhew Program this weekend to help open up the camp.  They will be bringing volunteers from the Boys and Girls Club as well as Sandy, Carroll’s wife.  If you are interested in helping you can meet Larry and Carroll Saturday morning at 8am in the parking lot of the Boys and Girls Club at their new location next Our Lady of the Lakes Church on Washington Street in Lakeport. Carroll has room to take seven people in his car.

Kiwanis K.A.R.E.S.:
Kathy Calvin reminds us that the K.A.R.E.S book distribution (last one of the year) is on Thursday at Woodland Heights.  There are plenty of volunteers but there is still room to help if you are interested.
