Berlin, Anyone?
Warren Mitchell asked if there was any interest in an Interclub to Berlin. A few people raised their hands and Warren will make the call to set something up, more than likely in July. More details to follow. Stay Tuned.

Football, Anyone?
Joe Adrignola indicated that the club was given a bunch of free tickets for the Belmont Police Supporters Flag Football on July 12th. If anyone is interested, President Dianne has tickets and Roger Landry also has tickets at NAPA.

Collie has gas...
Joe Collie forgot to mention he has tickets for the Ozanam Place gas raffle. Tickets are: 1 for $5, 3 for $10 and 8 for $20. The prizes are: 1st place: $500 gas card, 2nd place: $250 gas card and 3rd place: $100 gas card.

The winning ticket will be drawn on Sunday, June 22nd.

If anyone is interested in buying tickets, let Joe know and he will bring them to next Monday's meeting.

May Board Meeting:

Joe Adrignola read the minutes from the May board meeting. Prior to the board meeting, the general membership approved the election of the slate of officers for the upcoming Kiwanis Year. It reads as follows:
President Brian Winslow
Vice President Dick Metz
2nd Vice President Mike Marsh
Treasurer Joe Adrignola
Board of Directors: Denise Dow, Ron Penn, Steve Loughlin, Ed Merski

 

The highlights from the board meeting:
*** The charity and general funds were approved as read.
*** A Leave of absence was approved for Chet Cilley
*** We supported the Belmont Police Explorers Flag Football Game with $100
*** We approved up to $250 for entrance to the Rochester Fair
*** We approved $25 for a raffle permit in the Town of Gilford
*** We approved $8500 for the purchase of the ATV's from HK Powersports
*** The City of Laconia was paid $100 for our vendor fee for Motorcycle Week.
*** Meeting adjourned at 7:40pm
