Happy Birthday America!
The 4th of July celebration is on…the 4th of July! Imagine that. It’s a Wednesday this year. In lieu of towing the trailer in the parade this year, the Laconia Kiwanis Club will have several members driving in and riding in their classic cars! Look for Roger Landry to be there, as well as Warren Mitchell, Dick Metz, and Dick Breton. Also riding along…several “Klassic Kiwanians” like Ed Chertok, Roger Webster, and possibly Peter Karagianis. The parade starts at 1pm at Garfield Street and Wyatt Park…those participating should meet at NAPA, 580 Union Ave. at 12:30.
