Hey Kiwanis…THANKS!
We received a THANK YOU from the Laconia Public Library for our support of the Mr. Phil family show on June 30th. They said more than 100 people showed up and laughter filled the auditorium all afternoon. They look forward to our continued partnership with them.

Hey Kiwanis…THANKS again!
We received a BIG thank you card from the Boys & Girls Club of the Lakes Region for our donation of helmets. Kathy Calvin brought 60 helmets to them and fitted area children with them. Patty Jean Calvin also helped out. Roger Landry also reminds the club that there are helmets for sale at NAPA on Union Ave in Laconia.

Prospecting…
Larry Murphy was given the name of someone who may be interested in joining the club…Dave Cooley from the Lodge in Belmont. Dave is going to be a guest speaker next month and Larry will be calling him to see if he’d like to come to meetings more often. Stay Tuned.
.

More Prospecting…
Carroll Stafford and Paul Normandin made a brief presentation on behalf of the Laconia Historical Society. They are looking for members and there is money on the line…if they increase their membership by 100 %, they could be eligible for a $25,000 gift from the Finley Foundation. To learn more go to the Laconia Historical Society web site by "clicking" here.

Free Meal:
Dennis Denoncourt

Happy Dollars:
Carroll Stafford says he will match Happy Dollars with any one who donates to the Historical Society. Ed Chertok gave a happy dollar for winning the 50/50 and another Happy Dollar for the great gas mileage he experienced on his way back to Old Orchard Beach. Dennis Denoncourt gave a happy dollar for winning the free meal.

Apparently Ed's happy dollar makes Dianne happy, too.
