Lt. Gov. Dan Witham noted, in August, at the New England annual convention held in Rhode Island the Laconia Kiwanis Club was recognized for two different club ribbons for the years 2010-2011. The first was for the club bulletin award and the second was for public relations. Steve Loughlin accepted both awards on behalf of the club.

Dan recognized the following outgoing board members. Their term expired on September 30th of this year and they have served two years on the board successfully. They are: Peter Karagianis and Jim Fortier. Well done!
Continuing to serve on the Board through September 2012 are: Steve Loughlin and Steve Gorse.
Dan also recognized Joe Adrignola for serving as club Treasurer and Kathy Calvin for serving as Secretary.
Dan described Joe as "calculating, precise, fact oriented, cautious, stable, targeting, worthy, analytical and most of all honest in looking out for the best interest of your club."Dan described Kathy thoughtful, understanding, unsung, detailed, cooperative, consistent, approachable, open and most of all receptive in the best interest of the Kiwanis Club of Laconia."

Installation
of New Officers and Directors:
Lt. Gov. Dan Witham installed the following
new Directors: Immediate Past President Mike Marsh, Adam Cote and Lori
Dickson. Next Lt. Gov. Dan installed the following officers: Joe Adrignola,
Treasurer; Jack Batchelder, Second Vice President; Scott Vachon, First
Vice President; and Roger Landry, President.
