Dianne Roberts Peter KaragianisNews from the Prez:
*Dick advised the club that because Cathy and Tom Knox were out of time, there would be no Yoga class on Tuesday.
*Dick reminded the club of the Adult Christmas Party on December 14th. If you would like to be part of the Yankee Swap, please bring a gift (which should not exceed $10.00).
*Dick reported, last week's guest speaker, Elaine Morrison expressed some interest in joining the club. Joe Adrignola will pursue this with Elaine.
News from the Sec:
*Kathy reported Kiwanis KARES is scheduled for Thursday, December 10th from 9:30 until 11:15 am at Woodland Heights Elementary School. Those signed up so far include: Larry Murphy, Joe Adrignola, Don and Sue Nelson and Kathy Calvin.*Kathy noted the club received a "thank you" note from Elm Street School for a recent Kiwanis KARES.
*Kathy received a visit from the Salvation Army and they found, in their basement, an apron that says, I am a Kiwanis Bell Ringer. None of the members at tonight's meeting, including 60 year member, Peter Karagianis, ever remembered seeing, what appears to be, a one-of-a-kind item. Perhaps Dick Breton has an idea...
