Hey Kiwanis...Thanks!
We received a couple thank you letters and cards. Nancy Williams-Hunt sent a thank you for the club making her an honorary member. She promised not to be a stranger and attend a meeting with Bob soon. Also, we received a thank you from all the residents at The Knolls II retirement community in Gilford. This thank you was aimed at Warren Mitchell, Paul Cotton, and Larry Murphy for delivering dinners to them with the Citizen Santa Fund.

Happy Holidays...
We received a colorful Happy Holidays card from our friend Simplicity T. Clown. President Joe Collie recently ran into Simplicity without the make up or big shoes and did not recognize her. She was a big part of the success of last year's Bike Rodeo.Visit her today online at www.simplicitytheclown.com

Update on Roger Ballantyne
The following report on Roger's treatment was submitted by Betty Ballantyne on 12/2/06:

"Just a quick update. Roger had his one and final Cyberknife Treatment today. The treatment went very well for Roger. They had allowed me to enter the room before the treatment began. The equipment looked futuristic and was quite large. It is set up in a large open room with piped in music. Unfortunately, they didn't have Elvis Presley or Doo Wop music to his choosing. Roger had to be on the table for 90 minutes keeping completely still. They had formed a webbed mask which firmily fit over his face and locked onto the table in keeping his head and body completely still. It had been stressful week for Rog with the anticipation of the treatment and it had put Roger out of sorts. Now that this phase is over I hope this time will allow him to gain some strength for his next plan of attack with the interleukin2 treatment. His next appointment is January 8th which will than lead into his next group of testing in preparation of his next hospital stay at Beth Israel Hospital. The staff has been so attentative and professional in Roger's care. We are so fortunate to have the expertise in Boston."
