News from our Secretary:
Kathy reported that the last Kiwanis KARES event of the year will be held at Woodland Heights on December 15th at 9:00 am.

It is encouraging to note that, Larry Murphy was successful in attending the correct school and on the correct day and time. Nice job Larry!

• Brian Winslow swapped for Phil Bonafide’s bottle of Absolute Vodka, Phil Bonafide ended up with a flameless candle. 
• Pricilla Breton chose to swap for Joanne Merski’s Santa Doll. Joanne ended up with a Ford Hat w/flames. 
• Because Lori Marsh got to go first she also had the opportunity to trade with anyone in the room, she chose to trade with Carroll Stafford for the lottery tickets and ornament, leaving Carroll with the Coleman fishing pen.

 

Happy Anniversary:
Congratulations to Howard and Shirley Bacon who will be celebrating their 67th wedding anniversary on December 18th.

Laconia Kiwanis Club on Parade:
The annual Laconia Christmas Parade was held on Sunday, November 29th. Leading the Kiwanis contingent and holding the "K" banner were Joe Adrignola and John Calvin (former Kiwanian and husband of Kathy). Larry Murphy followed just behind. Handing out candy to the crowd were Mike and Lori Marsh. They were accompanied by their son, Riley, and his two friends, Jack and Dillon. Bringing up the rear of the Kiwanis contingent were Dick and Pricilla Breton riding in Dick's classic Buick. Below are a few parade memories:

John Markland was at the computer command center for all five days of the WLNH Children's Auction overseeing and coordinating the bid boards for the items up for bid. This year's annual event brought in $285,000.
