Reminder:

We will be ringing the bell for the Salvation Army on Wednesday, December 23rd in downtown Laconia. The following is the updated work schedule:

From the Prez:

Our next meeting will be on Monday January 4th. At that time, the general membership will vote on Brian Winslow's proposal to change to our bylaws.
 
Proposed amendment:  to concern Article VII, Section 1 of the BYLAWS of the KIWANIS CLUB OF LACONIA, NEW HAMPSHIRE, INC.

Currently Reads “The Board of Directors shall consist of the officers and 8 elected directors.”
Proposed Language “The Board of Directors shall consist of the officers and 5 elected directors.”

President Dick then handed out a copy of the proposed Bylaw changes that were prepared by Past President Brian.

$2 from President Dick for the kind words he has received from friends outside of Kiwanis wishing him well with his health.
$1 from Tom Knox to celebrate another $40 raised by Cathy Knox for the Kiwanis Club from her Yoga classes.
$1 from Kiwanian of the Year Roger Landry because Pres. Dick went to the hospital last week and tests showed that he had a brain.
